A clean palette: small kitchen design

Once a dark and outdated space, this kitchen now exudes life and colour. The new design features clever use of space as well as a clean and light colour scheme much better suited to the compact kitchen. The island is the hub of the space and features soft-close drawers, integrated microwave and hidden powerpoints as well as a built-in wine rack, perfectly positioned for grabbing a bottle when friends are over for dinner. Colour and texture have been beautifully incorporated throughout this kitchen, with oak timber laminate cupboards as a feature, white gloss for the rest and concrete-look benchtops designed to bring a modern, contemporary feel. The result is a space that is incredibly functional and emanates individuality and style.

Small Scandinavian kitchen style

Sleek, clean and minimalistic with light timber veneer features and glossy surfaces, this Scandinavian inspired kitchen demonstrates a fantastic use of space. Although relatively small in size, innovative space-saving ideas were cleverly employed to maximise the available space, such as an abundance of timber veneer drawers with handle-free extrusion. The crisp, glossy white kitchen is also filled with plenty of special design features such as 80mm-thick Amerind sandblasted oak timber veneer end panels, Calacatta marble splashbacks and polished concrete floors, which also accentuate the modern look. The result is a fantastic looking kitchen that is very user-friendly for a smaller-sized house.
Beach bliss: Bondi kitchen transformation

Ultra-modern and minimalistic, with crisp white lines and a gorgeous ocean view, this kitchen has undergone a magnificent transformation. Embracing the minimalist look, toughened glass front doors with no visible frame were used throughout the kitchen. Surprisingly a resilient material, the use of glass adds depth to the cabinet doors, whilst also reflecting the light, creating a transparent wall, which, during some parts of the day, reflects the entire beach on the translucent doors giving the tiny 5m x 4m room an incredible sense of space.
