Wanting a contemporary, statement kitchen including a butler’s pantry for a new family home, the homeowner approached Nobby Kitchens with some specific requests – clean lines, hidden storage, and lots of bench space.
The homeowner loved to entertain but did not want any mess and clutter to be visible when the guests arrived. Subsequently, the team worked hard to bring to life a butler’s kitchen that functioned as a pantry, appliance storage area and washing space too. Separated from the main kitchen by beautiful white double doors, the butler’s pantry bears the brunt of messes made during prep for family meals and dinner parties, allowing the main kitchen to remain sparkling clean and beautifully presented at all times.
The main kitchen was very much designed to be an extension of the adjoining area, with a similar colour palette for seamless cohesion. Beautiful polyurethane Shaker doors, combined with contemporary Woodmatt doors above the bench, suit the home’s contemporary aesthetic to a tee. The Dekton Orix benchtop and splashback is cloud-like in appearance yet hardy enough to resist staining or scratching. Paired together, these elements seamlessly create the organic look the homeowner was after for her kitchen, butler’s pantry and laundry room. Of course, every high-end kitchen needs high-end appliances and plentiful storage, and this space is no exception.
Stunning yet endlessly functional Belling appliances were selected for the kitchen and butler’s pantry to help the family whip up sumptuous meals. A Billi chilled, hot and sparkling water tap was added to the butler’s pantry for the family’s convenience. Big drawers were worked into the design to hold plates and cooking utensils and make access a breeze while keeping benches clear. With clean lines, high-quality surfaces, top-of-the-line appliances and plentiful bench space and storage solutions, this kitchen is precisely what the homeowner wanted and she couldn’t be more delighted.
