A welcome addition to the design scene, Curious Grace offers an abundance of interior inspiration
Founded by husband and wife duo Wayne and Anna Curnuck, Curious Grace is a treasure trove of new and exciting design. After years spent dreaming about starting a business together, Anna and Wayne bit the bullet and launched the company in the Melbourne suburb of Yaraville in 2011. With Wayne running the business and Anna taking charge of sourcing products, the pair successfully built Curious Grace from the ground up.
Today, the brand showcases a mix of local and international design with a distinct Scandinavian flavour. Anna studied furniture design at RMIT and worked as a stylist for years, so it was a natural progression for her to step
Anna believes the range is a response to the contemporary Australian palette. “Our blue skies, sun and clear light influence our style more than anything,” she says. Bringing the outside in is the motivation behind Anna’s design ethos as she focuses on sourcing organic and natural materials with pops of colour.
Sustainable practice is not a new idea for Anna, and she continues to discover and stock products that offer sustainable solutions. With a timber-heavy collection, Anna has worked particularly hard to ensure all material comes from factories that support growth and replantation. Forward-thinking actions such as this further reinforce the quality already evident in this dynamic duo’s brand.
“Our products all have a certain integrity, and I think we are known for this,” says Anna. The drive to source authentic and original items has seen the brand emerge as an Australian favourite. If you are on the hunt for quality design with a point of difference, be sure to check out Curious Grace.
