Phoenix Tapware celebrates the strong design language of linear architecture with Lexi MKII, a contemporary update to the ever-popular original Lexi collection.
Proudly designed in Australia by Phoenix’s award-winning design team, Lexi MKll builds on the distinctive linear profile of Lexi with a sleeker, more sophisticated aesthetic. The slender profiled outlet and pin handle is now elongated and sits vertically, offering a more streamlined and complex engineering element.
“An evolution of Lexi, the new Lexi MKII is in keeping with the concept of linear minimalism. The collection’s lines are based on a composition of two simple geometric structures — the cylindrical bodies and rectangular forms of the pin handle and spout. These create a harmonious design that blends comfortably in any modern setting,” says Ban Lui, design lead at Phoenix Tapware.
“With a stronger design language, Lexi MKII’s slender outlet is achieved through a unique rectangular aerator, for basin products, or flow straightener, for bath outlets. The pin lever handle features a delicately recessed button, creating a fine line detail around the body of the handle.”
A standout feature of the new collection is the energy-saving Cold Start cartridge technology as featured in the Lexi MKII basin and vessel mixers, which have both achieved a WELS 6-star rating for water efficiency. Cold Start technology allows only cold water to be delivered when the tap is operated from the traditional mid-lever position. This means hot water flows only if the handle is moved to the left hot position, saving energy by avoiding the unnecessary heating of water for tasks such as cleaning your teeth or washing your hands. The flow of water is ultra-responsive and precise, giving you total control over temperature and water flow.
Lexi MKII is available in three finishes: Chrome, Brushed Nickel and Matte Black. These trending finishes make the collection versatile and easily placed within a range of interiors. Lexi MKII accessories are also coming soon.
With its mix of round and square features, Lexi MKII is a truly versatile range, pairing beautifully with Phoenix’s other contemporary, geometric accessories and showers such as NX Quil Showers and Vivid Slimline Accessories.
