Riverstone makes an unforgettable first impression thanks to its bold horizontal lines and stunning facade.

The Noosa Heads project adopts elements of Brazilian modernist and mid-century modern architecture to create a space that is timeless in aesthetic and considered in its use of texture and materials.

The luxury home was designed by Noosa-based Tim Ditchfield Architects, under the direction of architect Oskar Booth. When it came time to furnish the completed home, Cosh Living seemed the obvious choice. Defined by exceptional comfort and style, Cosh specialises in supplying furniture collections that are uncomplicated and contemporary, making them the ideal fit for this project. “Cosh Living was an easy choice as we had a strong desire to use Australian-made furniture where possible, and the Kett range was perfect for the aesthetics of the house,” explains architect Oskar Booth.

“The process was made even easier by a visit to the showroom with the clients to select pieces and fabrics. The whole process was very enjoyable and in my opinion the icing
on the cake for such a great project.”

Sumptuous spatial qualities define the interior, evident when appraising the stairs and living room void spaces. These high-volume, double-height areas form the heart of the home and have been furnished impeccably. With its double-height properties and river frontage as a backdrop, the open-plan dining area has been populated with an Otway timber dining table and armchairs.

Considering Noosa’s enviable climate, it was important the outdoor areas were not overlooked. Cosh ensured the exterior of the home was just as well appointed as the interior. Sculptural lighting by Tribu was used at the front and rear of the home. The Monsieur Tricot lighting range enjoys distinctive knitted and hand-crocheted outdoor pieces that add intimacy and mood to the alfresco areas.

In terms of furniture, Senja loungers overlook the pool, while a Pure sofa and armchairs by Tribu create a cosy and contemporary ambience adjacent to the river and next to the covered outdoor dining area, which boasts an Addis teak extension table and Forrest armchairs by Kett. “We originally intended to visit several Brisbane furniture showrooms, but in the end, 90 per cent of the furniture was selected from Cosh as the range just worked so well together and we could use matching and complementary pieces to suit the project needs,” says Oskar. “The guidance from Cosh felt very collaborative and the end results speak to this.”

With an experienced sales team to provide on-site consultations, sampling and advice, Cosh Living is the obvious choice for your next refurbishment or to fit out a new build.
