Introducing Alisa & Lysandra, well-known interior designers, aka The Design Duo.
After their 2013 win on The Block, the designers have built their businesses, Alisa & Lysandra Interiors and A.live Body. From 2018, they have showcased their incredible design projects with their series ‘The Design Duo’.
The duo have taken on their most ambitious project to date, a dream family home in Paradise Point in Queensland. This bespoke four-bedroom home features luxury, high-end products, and Godfrey Hirst are thrilled to have worked with Alisa & Lysandra to help bring this to life.
In episode one, Alisa & Lysandra revealed the elegant and spacious master bedroom, WIR and ensuite. Aligning with luxurious textures of stone, brass and velvet, the natural fibre of Chatsworth wool carpet complements the tactile nature of this space. With vivid pops of green paired with subtle neutral and black hues, the light grey colour provides the ideal flooring foundation throughout the bedroom and WIR.
Throughout the contemporary office space, Alisa & Lysandra featured Chatsworth wool carpet, providing a soft and textural feel underfoot. With sliding doors opening into a lush courtyard, bespoke timber cabinetry, marble benchtops and wool carpet, this setting emphasises nature as a key theme.
In episode four, Alisa & Lysandra presented the dreamy the second and third bedrooms. Sophisticated yet relaxed, both bedrooms feature warm, earthy tones, accentuated with the natural textural fibre of the grey wool carpet underneath – Chatsworth in 520 Devonshire.
Again, the Design Duo have used natural elements of wool, indoor plants rattan oak to capture the calm and tranquil ambience of nature. Made in Australia, the beauty of Chatsworth wool carpet stems from the inherent complexity of the fibre itself, evolved to protect sheep, no matter the conditions.
