Green Interior Awards – shining the light on Green Interiors

The search is on for the ultimate green interior project in Australia.

Australian Living and Home Design Magazine have come together to perform this search in the form of an Awards program.

A first of its kind, Home Design Magazine Australian Green Interior Awards focus on the use of interior products that embrace the essence of being ‘green’ – consideration of the environment; energy efficient, wasteless, ethical production; health of the consumers and manufacturers.

Home Design Magazine Australian Green Interior Awards welcomes entries from interior designers, architects, interior stylists, interior consultants, building designers, sustainability consultants, homeowners. Anyone can enter as long as your project features green interiors products.

The Award categories are Taubmans Residential, Corporate Culture Office, Interface Hospitality, Retail, Educational and Interface Aged Care. So if you have worked on an office, house, shop, restaurant, bar, unit, school, university, kindergarten or department store and have introduced green interior products, we would love to review your entry.

Interior products cover paints, flooring, lighting, soft furnishings, lounges, rugs, dining tables, cupboards, appliances, wardrobes, benchtops, filtered taps, blinds, artwork, artifacts, basically anything inside!

Judging the Awards are Shaynna Blaze (Co-presenter of the Lifestyle Channel’s Selling Houses Australia and Judge on Channel 9’s The Block), Kate St James, FDIA (interior designer and Editor-in-Chief of Home Design magazine), Daphna Tal (Sustainable Interiors Consultant at Australian Living), Mark Lynch (leads a national commercial team at Taubmans), Richard Munao (founder of Corporate Culture & Cult), and John Richardson (Vice President for Marketing for Australia & New Zealand at Interface).
