Faucet Strommen selected by stylist Julia Green

Family-owned Victorian business Faucet Strommen was recently selected to be part of the revamp of Julia Green’s home. Julia, a well-known stylist and founder of Greenhouse Interiors, has an eye for beautiful design, so it’s no surprise she opted for Faucet Strommen collections throughout her own home.

The Pegasi collection of showers, tapware and accessories was chosen in the Raw Brushed Brass finish. This organic finish has a rich satin appearance which, in time, will mature into a natural medium-brown colour, giving it a timeless quality.

The tapware, which is Australian-made, was sourced from Geelong Tiles & Bathroom. This local focus appealed to Julia, who was pleased she was able to support local manufacturers in her home state (with Faucet Strommen based near the Loddon River in northern Victoria), while not compromising on style and quality.

With a strong Moroccan flavour throughout her home, Julia selected Moroccan handmade tiles for her laundry. Their bold, bright colours and patterns are complemented by the simplicity of the Raw Brass sink mixer, which doesn’t compete for attention yet still draws the gaze.

The ensuite, which features a silt slab concrete feature wall and a double concrete vanity, utilises the brass tapware to bring warmth and a rustic aesthetic to the space.

Tapware that is different and special is what Faucet Strommen is known for, and that is why it is selected by those who live and breathe design.
