I’m seeing a lot of drawer storage in the kitchens in your magazine. Is this an ongoing trend in kitchen design or are there even more exciting storage options coming?
A: Brian Patterson from Nouvelle Designer Kitchens says: “Today’s customer has finally realised that drawers win over cupboards in almost all areas. Full-extension running systems bring this kitchen to you instead of kneeling and groping in the backs of cupboards. Drawers give you more shelves and thus more storage space. Loading and unloading is so much easier in drawers. The only downside is that drawers can be three times the price of cupboards, when top-of-the-range running systems are used.”
