PROBLEM
CrewFit is a boutique, high-end industrial style gym, drawing in customers all over southern Sydney. With high-end fixtures and state-of-the-art equipment, CrewFit creates a unique experience for its’ customers. Owner, Jackson Ngu didn’t want to just fit out a building but to design and build a fit-for-purpose facility to meet the needs of our members and to set the new standard in the health and fitness industry. With two levels and over 1000 memberships, CrewFit was looking for a natural cooling system, that wouldn’t drop their member’s body temperatures too rapidly, yet match the rest of the gym’s aesthetic.
SOLUTION
By installing both Big Ass Fans’ Essence and i6 ceiling fans Jackson was able to reduce the ever-increasing humidity and staleness of the gym, particularly during Sydney’s heatwaves.
RESULTS
Since installation, Jackson has received an influx of positive comments from their members about the fans. From its aesthetic looks to its cooling ability. Since installing the fans, Jackson and members have felt a significant decrease in humidity and increased in fresh airflow to the gym floor where they don’t have the crosswind/airflow as they do on level 1.
