“Centrally located is a luxurious and spacious kitchen with a large butler’s pantry which also services the outdoor barbecue area. Additionally, there is an outdoor kitchen on the deck, making the home the ultimate venue for relaxed indoor-outdoor entertaining.
“The interior kitchen is part of a generous, open-plan living space that includes a dining area and adjacent lounge zone. The latter is oriented to take advantage of a fireplace set into a random stone feature wall. From this open-plan space you have direct access to the deck and beyond that, the lap pool.”
The home doesn’t just take full advantage of the pristine views, it is also light and airy throughout. Highlight powered awning windows ensure the maximum flow of light and ventilation, closing automatically in inclement weather. There are also large sliding glass doors that disappear into walls creating borderless spaces.
“The glass connection between the home’s two wings is another striking feature of the design, ensuring a feeling of openness and an abundance of natural light. The effective use of aluminium batten screens and acrylic roofing give filtered light to outdoor living areas,” adds Nathan.
