The Caroma Marc Newson collection has won the coveted Good Design of the Year Award 2014
Dr Steve Cummings, Research and Development Manager at GWA Kitchens and Bathrooms, said “We are delighted that Caroma and Marc Newson have been presented with these prestigious awards”.
The judges praised the collection stating that “This bathroom range is a great example of how a good designer, with the enthusiastic support of a determined client, can enhance the usefulness and appeal of just about any product”.
The 22 piece collection features baths, mixer taps, showers, toilet suites, basins and urinals. Each piece has been meticulously designed by Marc and his team, using high quality materials and advanced engineering by Caroma. Aesthetically, the chic collection offers a contemporary approach to bathroom products, and has perfect simplicity.
Of the collection, Marc Newson said “Being Australian, I appreciate that this iconic brand, Caroma, has been part of our bathroom history for many decades. It made perfect sense for me to become involved. I am very proud of these designs and feel privileged to have been asked to create them for Caroma.”
