This bathroom is the most unique room in the home — and perhaps even the whole suburb — thanks to the fact that it’s completely round. While every other bathroom within this home is simple and pared back, the homeowners were set on the master ensuite standing out from the rest. With this in mind, the design team took great care to curate this stunning space.
The homeowners requested a Japanese feel for the round bathroom, which happens to look over beautiful valleys. With this in mind, organic finishes such as concrete and weathered brass tapware were chosen to reflect the landscape while also exuding a Japanese ambience.
Accentuating the curves in the room, the homeowners selected an oval-shaped mosaic in a combination of green marble and glazed lavastone for the striking feature wall. The black slate was also finished with an enhancing seal to emphasise the dark colour and undulation on the surface, giving it an organic feel. The bathroom’s gold-hued fixtures are the cherry on top, adding a touch of glamour to what is truly a wow-factor bathroom space.
