The romance of the oval freestanding bath complements this strong definition. It softens the tone and marries with the rounded dual above-bench basins on the two separate vanities that allow for individual space in a shared room.
Storage was considered, with mirror shaving cabinets and the vanities. Gunmetal basins and tap fixtures are easy to clean and keep the room feeling contemporary with an industrial edge. The woodgrain vanities add warmth. The ensuite took home the HIA 2021 Bathroom Award in the $50,000-$100,000 category for All Bathroom Gear. This makes it a clear winner not just visually, but on paper too.
