Defined by the deep colour and alluring texture of exquisite Nero Marquina black marble floor and wall tiles, this ensuite and bathroom combo is punctuated with pops of brushed-brass tapware and accessories.
The owners of this bathroom worked closely with Geelong Tiles and Bathware (GT&B) to find the perfect products to create these luxury spaces.
Taking a closer look at the ensuite, the well-equipped space features a large combined shower/bath compartment area. Of vital importance to the owners was cohesion between the wet areas of the home. The colour and textural palette of the ensuite continues into the combined bathroom/laundry area to create an effortlessly cohesive finish.
The ensuite was an extension to the existing 1980s dwelling. The remainder of the residence was renovated to bring it up to date with the modern luxurious feel the clients were aiming for.
Designing something that would fit within the existing building envelope was a challenge. The ensuite needed to be designed on an angle to follow the setback of the boundaries. The block also had 10m of fall (front to back) with a great deal of wasted space under the subfloor. This was designed to incorporate the stunning new bathroom/laundry and second living space.
With dramatic luxury at every turn, this well-designed bathroom and ensuite is converting
