The use of dark and light large-format tiles to give this bathroom a sense of grand proportion
“The clients’ main brief was to create a more spacious, contemporary bathroom to accommodate their changing needs. The feature wall of dark, large-format tiles, with white gloss tiles for the side walls, creates a sense of grandeur in the room.
The wall-hung vanity was designed to make the room feel more spacious, while the textured oak veneer of the panels acts as a feature. The clients’ fell in love with the Kado Arc freestanding bath, which then dictated the style of basin and tapware to ensure a harmonious design. The original 1980s bathroom lacked natural light and ventilation so we installed a new window with an awning. –

This modern bathroom was the winner of multiple awards at the 2014 KBDi Awards, and also won the KBDi and Kitchens & Bathrooms Quarterly Inaugural People’s Choice Award Bathroom Design of the Year 2014.”
