A bright orange colour makes this bold bathroom design a vivid success
“For this project we had to take a 1960s bathroom and make it meet today’s design standards. The basin was going to serve as a baby bath so it needed to be large enough to accommodate a child. With three children in the house, the bathroom is always in use and always wet — so it needs to be hygienic, easy to clean, hardwearing, and extremely low-maintenance. We achieved this through the use of seamless lines — with no seams of grout there is nowhere for water to sneak in and cause trouble. The homeowners wanted their bathroom to contrast the rest of their home, with bold bright colours that make the room pop.”
