Imagination, style and opulence combine in perfect harmony in this bathroom.

tips, tricks & advice

Before Cerastone Tile Gallery worked its magic on this bathroom it was a run-down space reminiscent of the 1970s and crying out for some love and attention. The owners wanted to create their own private sanctuary, an area of the house that gave them the space and practicality they had been missing for so long. They were after a classic and timeless look.

The palette of muted, earthy tones imparts a warm, gentle feel to the room. With eye-catching mosaic tiles used as a feature on two of the walls, the room is as far from sterile as you can get. Some of the main design considerations included installing a large shower and double basins. Sufficient storage was also a requirement; this was achieved through the vanity with its multiple compartments. These features, combined with the inclusion of a large LCD TV monitor, turn a formerly worse-forwear bathroom into a space to savour.
