Ensuite project: a spacious design

Gallery

Creating depth and eliminating dead space via exceptional design were among the main goals for this bathroom project

“The homeowners had grown tired of their grungy old ensuite, its outdated colours and impractical nature, so they requested a bathroom space that is modern, luxurious and functional, which also complements the rest of the home. With this in mind, light, large-format tiles were chosen for the majority of the ensuite to create the illusion of space, while darker feature tiles were placed in the shower area to create an element of interest. Black tapware and accessories were chosen to increase the ensuite’s aesthetic appeal, and the space was designed carefully to accommodate a large shower, wall-hung vanity and plenty of storage. An illusion of depth was created by installing the new larger window on the outer leaf of the exterior wall. The single black-frame panel is simple yet adds a touch of elegance to the space and can be opened for air flow. A walk-in robe was also built next to the ensuite as a final touch, to maximise the previously unused space.”
