“I have worked with my interior designer, Agatha Ozhylovski, on a number of renovations in the past. With her expertise and guidance, we have transformed this bathroom into a modern interior with a masculine sensibility to suit my brief. The restrictive size of the bathroom meant it was important to eliminate clutter. We moved the doorway and removed the bath to make way for a large shower. The new shower channel allowed us to use the existing water outlet, which saved on plumbing costs. The design incorporates black fittings, which appealed to my desire for a bathroom that was a little out of the ordinary. The wall-hung vanity unit makes a dramatic statement and is complemented by the custom-made mirror and black feature tiles. The pendant lights create a lightness of touch to the overall design while the large tiles add a sense of luxury and elegance.”
