“This project offered a great opportunity to modernise this architecturally designed ’90s house. The owners wanted a contemporary, elegant yet practical space for their busy lifestyle.
In the master ensuite, the curved solid-brick walls presented the biggest challenge — both for plumbing and tiling — but the result is impressive. Slender vertical tiles evoke a distinctly modern look, drawing the eye up and around the whole room. Soft, warm tones achieve a relaxing ambience with a luxurious hotel appeal.
The seductive curved wall contrasts beautifully with the sleek, sharp angles of the vanity and taps. Double sinks, ample bench space and lots of storage create the functional design the owners desired without compromising on minimalist appeal.”
