This Breathtaking Bathroom Transforms from Drab to Fab

Gallery

A bathroom renovation by Melbourne Kitchens and Bathrooms has truly transformed this space, taking it from drab to fab.

The initial bathroom had a dated ‘70s style with blue floor tiles, a laminate vanity, a hob bath and a brass-framed shower. Just look how far this space has come.

The age of the home and the solid-brick walls were the main considerations the team had to factor in when designing the bathroom. The wall behind the bath had to be moved to incorporate the new freestanding bath, and the vanity was repositioned so that two large vanity mirrors could be installed.

Stunning modern farmhouse features such as the shiplap panelling, timber bath niche and timber vanity have been cleverly used within this space to tie it in with the rest of the original home. These elements pair seamlessly with the black-framed shower screen and matt black tapware.

The designers also ensured this space is dowsed in bright light — a handy must-have for easy makeup application. Out with the old and in with the new — the team at Melbourne Kitchens and Bathrooms have certainly given this bathroom a new lease on life.
