Phoenix has reinvigorated its popular Gloss collection, with the launch of Gloss MKII.
The Gloss MKII collection refines the proportions of understated curves to create mixers that have an ease of use, while incorporating contemporary design trends. As function and form have been a focus for the Phoenix in-house design team, so too have energy and water-saving tapware advances.
Phoenix Creative Design Manager, John Hoogendoorn and his team have again presented the market with a collection that satisfies what consumers are looking for in their tapware. “Gloss MKII represents a major update for the Gloss range and is infused with our sophisticated design DNA. The purposeful lines and graceful surfacing cloak what is, in essence, a highly technical product,” John reflects. “These refined proportions ensure Gloss MKII will remain timeless for decades to come.”
The Gloss MKII Vessel and Basin Mixers employ Cold Start Technology via energy-saving cartridge technology which allows only cold water to be delivered when the tap is operated from the traditional mid-lever position. Combined with a 6-star WELS rating for the Basin and Vessel Mixers, Gloss MKII saves both energy and water.
The Gloss MKII collection is SwitchMix® compatible. SwitchMix® allows the consumer to easily select a new design or finish in the future without having to remove or damage tiles, as all the changes are made front-of-wall. The home owner can choose Gloss MKII with confidence, knowing that if they change their mind about the finish or indeed, the style, they can easily make the change to one of Phoenix’s other SwitchMix® compatible designs or finishes in the future.
The Gloss MKII collection is available in five of Phoenix’s finishes – Chrome, Matte Black, Brushed Nickel, Brushed Gold and Brushed Carbon – and consists of a Basin Mixer, Vessel Mixer and Sink Mixer, a Shower/Wall Mixer, a Wall Basin/Bath Mixer Set and a Wall Basin/Bath Outlet. The collection is complemented beautifully by the existing Gloss collection of accessories available in the same range of colour finishes as Gloss MKII, allowing the home owner to create a cohesive feel in their bathrooms.
With a soft square line design and modern aesthetic, the Gloss MKII collection pairs perfectly with many of our shower collections, such as NX Quil and NX Orli, Lexi, Nuage and Vivid Slimline.
