Phoenix always chooses the premium plating process that best suits the finish they are aiming to achieve. In the case of Brushed Carbon, Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD) is used. This is the best way to achieve this finish through a highly sustainable process with little to no waste, providing a durable and hard finish. It works by placing the mixer in a high vacuum environment. Several vaporised metals are added which eventually form a thin film of metallic material that hardens to create the stunning Brushed Carbon finish.
Phoenix stands by the high quality of their Brushed Carbon with a seven-year warranty on the finish for all mixers, tapware and accessories and a three-year finish warranty on showers.
To clean your Brushed Carbon tapware, showers and accessories, use mild liquid detergent or soap and water. Never use harsh detergents or any product that will scratch and damage the surface.
Brushed Carbon is now available as a finish option through the Vivid Slimline collection, as well as selected lines in the Vivid and Designer Sink Mixer collection. Examples of product available include Basin Mixers, Wall Basin Mixer Sets and accessories such as Towel Rails and Towel Ladders. All product is currently available from the Phoenix warehouse in Melbourne, with no supply chain issues affecting distribution.
