From the talented team at Crystal Bathrooms, this once-clinical bathroom has been transformed into an edgy monochromatic delight.
With the layout retained, to preserve costs, the new space has been given a shot of character and charm with a timeless and modern style.
In order to match the new bathroom’s design, a gorgeous freestanding bath was chosen in a stark black and white palette, making it the perfect fit. The monochromatic theme used throughout the space alludes to an old-world glamour that gives it a timeless vibe. The white subway tiles, a classic choice, are matched with a charcoal-grey grout to enhance the contrast in the materiality of the space and increase its sense of dimension.
The checkered floor tile, once again in black and white, helps to enhance the character and flair of this refreshed bathroom, further ensuring it won’t date.
A touch of greenery in the room adds life and a pop of colour. Given the absence of windows and access to natural light, fresh plant life brings the outdoors in and helps to soften the edginess of the black and white design.
The Mizu matt black tapware, towel racks and shower complement the black and white aesthetic, lending added depth to the space. The attention to detail throughout makes this small space a quality gem that feels light and bright and is sure to please for years to come.
