Despite its small stature, the powder room can offer the perfect space to make a big design impact.
Essentially a place of practicality, it’s also one of the rooms guests visit most and its standalone status means it’s an ideal area to make a statement. It can be a room where owners, designers and decorators have fun and inject some personality, and that is exactly the case in this bold creation by Yeomans Bagno & Ceramiche.
With the owner a fan of pop art and graffiti, the bathroom designer saw an opportunity. Using an image sourced from the internet, Yeomans Bagno & Ceramiche enlisted the expertise of the Trend Group, which customises glass ceramic feature tiles to suit any design or application.
Manufactured in Italy, the resulting bespoke mosaic wall feature was applied, floor-to-ceiling, behind the cistern where it now dominates the space, infusing it with its own lively identity.
A streamlined Fienza vanity and wall-mounted toilet team with matt black Phoenix tapware and understated round mirror and tiling, allowing the mosaic feature to take pride of place.
It’s a look that guests are unlikely to forget and one that certainly puts the “pow” into powder room.
