What was once a dated kitchen is now an open-plan multi-function kitchen
“Light pours into this sublime kitchen, bouncing off the lustrous textures to create a bright and attractive space, in what was once a dark and dated ‘70s kitchen. The owners were granted their wish for a modern open-plan room where they could cook, eat and entertain.
The renovation started with the removal of a partition wall and brick bar, and merging the separate kitchen and dining areas into one room. A dramatic 80mm-thick suspended benchtop connects the space. The ultra-high-gloss finish on the cabinetry doors unites with the striking Caesarstone benchtop to reflect natural light and add depth to the room.
Clean lines and an uncluttered feel were essential for this modern design so we chose Blum SERVO-DRIVE handles on the drawers and overhead cabinets. Black highlights on the mirror glass splashback, open cabinet and glass display work with black V-ZUG appliances to amplify the kitchen’s sense of style”.
