This artist’s home has a kitchen crafted in captivating hues and textural materials that complement the owner’s personally curated artwork.

Acting as a centrepiece for the rest of the apartment, this entertainer’s zone has expansive views of the Brisbane River and the cityscape beyond that form part of its charm. Included in a complete apartment renovation, the owners wanted to replace the small dated all-white kitchen with a space that spelled ‘wow’ and more accurately reflected their individual design aesthetic – as the final result can attest, the designer certainly delivered.

The beautiful stone also forms the benchtop around the sink opposite the island and continues up the wall to form the splashback.
