A dramatic black kitchen renovation with Premier Kitchens. The kitchen is located near the front door of an apartment, so visually it needed to make a statement. The previous kitchen was outdated and had an impractical layout. With their new kitchen, the homeowners can now entertain in style.
There’s a bar fridge to keep drinks cool, as well as bar stools around the curved shark-nose island bench, which promotes free-flowing movement around the kitchen space. The striking island is made from black lava granite.
It’s surrounded in a green fluted marble tile. The matt-black cabinetry and black internals harmonise beautifully with the other kitchen elements. The addition of a mirror splashback allows light to bounce around the room and adds the illusion of more space.
Changing the orientation of the kitchen was a challenge, but with careful planning and faultless execution, the new kitchen sits comfortably within the space.
