The journey towards creating ‘Sebonack’ began when a discerning family from Sydney sought to relocate to Brisbane. Enter O’Shea & Sons, a renowned name in custom home construction, who were entrusted with bringing their vision to life.
Nick, a dedicated member of the O’Shea & Sons team, embarked on an extensive research expedition alongside the clients. Together, they scoured potential blocks until they found the perfect canvas for their dream home in Indooroopilly. Opting for a design and construct package with OSB, the clients were poised to witness their aspirations materialise.
Collaboration was key in the creation of ‘Sebonack.’ Nick facilitated meetings between the clients and Brad Cross from Jazz Designs, where dreams were translated into blueprints. With a clear vision in mind, Joanna Kane from Merge Interiors was enlisted to curate a full interior design package, infusing every corner with sophistication and style.
As the build commenced in May 2023, the challenge of distance loomed large. With the clients residing interstate, trust became the cornerstone of the process. Despite the logistical hurdles, the OSB team ensured seamless communication through frequent phone calls, texts, and emails. While physical site visits were limited, the clients remained integral to every decision, ensuring their vision remained at the forefront of the construction journey.
In February 2024, ‘Sebonack’ stood ready, a culmination of dreams and dedication. As the keys were handed over to the delighted family, a new chapter unfolded, promising years of cherished memories in their luxurious abode.
