How did you discover Designline Kitchens & Bathrooms, and what made you choose them?
I had visited and spoken to many renovating companies, but they did not leave a positive impression. So I went online and Google searched “renovations near me” and came across Designline. I made an appointment and from the moment I walked in I knew they were the ones for me.
What was the design process and how did you feel going through it?
The Designline team came out to my home and we went through the details of what I wanted, as well as my expectations. It was a comprehensive discussion and the team listened to all my concerns and even provided suggestions on how I can further improve on my renovation ideas. We later sat in their office and went through the preliminary plans and discussed those in detail and made tweaks. The entire process left me quite confident that Designline would certainly look after me very well. It gave me great peace of mind knowing this.
How long was the build process and how did the home’s inhabitants cope during this period?
The build process started early February and finished end April, but due to COVID lockdowns, some minor tasks were extended to May. During the build, we moved in with family so the house was empty and ready for Designline to work their magic.
What is your favourite thing about your new kitchen?
Where do I start? I love absolutely everything about it, from the Shaker-style cabinetry to the functionality and abundance of space, and how the kitchen complements my Federation house. Not to mention the chef appliances! I am still in awe even today and admire the workmanship. It simply is stunning.
How has it changed the way you operate in your home?
My day-to-day living is simpler, functional and so easy. The abundance of space I now have makes cooking such a breeze and getting ready for breakfast is effortless. I am so proud to be in my kitchen as it brings me so much joy and much-needed storage.
