The 2022 eussen student design competition celebrates its 11th year connecting education to industry in conjunction with Grand Designs Australia magazine.
Each year a different design brief is created from the likes of Ronald McDonald House, Fire & Ice Boutique Hotel, Cana Community Housing amongst many, to this year’s Tiny Home project.
Tiny Homes have been popular over the past 5 years however they are now becoming more popular than ever because of the cost of housing in Australia.
Housing has become so unaffordable, particularly for 1st home buyers. The Tiny Home is now considered a saleable asset and entry to market. It is also a8 solution for many of the fire and flood disaster areas.
This year’s project is sponsored by one of Australia’s renowned architectural companies, TSF Architects with a design brief that will involve 100’s of final year interior design and build undergraduates across 10 colleges and universities.
TSF Architects have been prominent in the Australian residential housing market for a number of years and it is with great honour that they have helped coordinate our brief based on their knowledge of the Australian lifestyle and housing requirements.
Managing Director, Stephen Moore, has over two decades of experience in architectural design and project management. Throughout his career, Stephen has developed visionary leadership and communication skills that he believes is imperative to the success of any project for his clients. The foundation, to achieve outstanding results, is built on a motivated team of strong management, creative architects, leading project managers and dedicated support staff. Together they possess the ability to motivate each other to achieve exceptional results all whilst exceeding the expectations of each and every client.
The TSF work spans from custom design residential to medium density and new generation boarding house design and development. They bring international expertise to their work to deliver unique, stunning and practically designed living experiences and Tiny Homes are another string to their bow!
