New to the Knight Tile Range
Timeless timbers
Our popular Knight Tile range provides a choice of 16 wood and 6 stone inspired designs available in both gluedown and our 2G™ click-locking system rigid core hybrid formats. Every plank in the Knight Tile wood collection has been carefully designed to reflect the authentic grain detail and intrinsic characteristics of natural timbers.
New to the Knight Tile wood collection are planks inspired by the versatile beauty of quintessential Australian hardwoods. Christine Weaver, Head of Product at Karndean Designflooring says that “With a touch of discrete colour, Coastal Blackbutt highlights the subtle graining and sap markings of renewing sapwood with a light and neutral finish. For a warmth and a golden touch, our Classic Spotted Gum beautifully captures the characteristics that make this a classic flooring choice for Australian homes.”
“Inspired by planks reclaimed from an old wind-powered sawmill in Amsterdam, new Blond Character Oak rounds out our selection of 13 oak planks. From the timeless elegance of Traditional Character Oak to the dark and moody tones Shadow Studio Oak to washed and limed oak options, there’s a Knight Tile oak plank in colours, tones and styles to suit any interior.”
Classic stone inspired designs
The Knight Tile stone collection provides a choice of six on-trend flooring designs. “Just like our wood collection, these beautiful tiles have been inspired by natural materials” said Christine. “Find your design inspiration in colour, effects and styles such as the dark textures of Honed Charcoal Slate or the contemporary cool of Smoked Concrete. These versatile choices feature a lightly textured surface that enhances their authentic appeal.”
Create your masterpiece with the Van Gogh Collection
Our popular Van Gogh range captures the look and feel of real timbers in a carefully curated collection of 20 timber-look planks available in gluedown or our 5G® click-locking rigid core format for ease and versatility of installation.
From classic species such as Oak, Elm, Maple and Birch to quintessential Australian timbers including Blackbutt and Spotted Gum, the Van Gogh Range celebrates the intrinsic character and rich diversity of colour, tone and texture of the world’s most beautiful timbers.
“New additions to the range this season include our Maples…the fresh – faced Natural Maple, featuring subtle honey tones contrasted with highlights of darker brown,” Christine explained. Now available in dual format
Knight Tile and Van Gogh ranges are now available in both gluedown and rigid core hybrid formats. This dual format enhancement means there are now even more ways to enjoy our beautiful floors as you can choose the design you want, in the format that you need.
Gluedown and rigid core extend your flooring options
Gluedown format where each plank or is individually glued to the subfloor, gives you complete control over the look of your floor – from laying patterns such as herringbone or the option to incorporate our design strips and borders.
Our rigid core hybrid flooring ranges feature a 2G™ or 5G® click-locking system that means they can be laid quickly and easily over most existing hard floors without the need for adhesive. Slightly thicker than the Gluedown format, an additional acoustic backing works to reduce noise transfer – for instance to rooms below or on stairways. Dual format provides new flexibility to use the design you prefer for a seamless look and seamless application throughout your home.
