Situated on a large, sloping coastal property formed by undulating sand dunes, this pool was inspired by the lifestyle and long-term vision of the owners who use the pool and spa for relaxation and entertaining.
“The brief from these homeowners in Portsea was for a pool that allows for fun, fitness, relaxation and entertaining,” explains Chris Jackson, managing director of Aquarius Pools. “They wanted to relax in the spa or dip in the pool after a hit of tennis or golf.”
The contemporary rectangular 10m-long pool and adjacent spa is a wonderful example of clever landscape design combined with Aquarius Pools’ trademark user-friendly, low-maintenance approach. “The house, pool, spa and tennis court required clever design to build into the sloping coastal block,” says Chris. “The tiered hedging from the pool on the northern side integrates the pool and tennis court, while the hedging around the pool enhances the pool fencing.”
The spa seating is designed for relaxing with friends and family while enjoying the coastal view over the pool, tennis court and township beyond. The Aqualink in-house controller with its iPad and iPhone controls enable the owners to turn on the spa from the golf course.
What a wonderful way to ease those post-exercise aches and pains.
