Streamlined symmetry

The space allocated in this new build allowed for the creation of a beautifully integrated kitchen, pantry and laundry combo, founded on straight lines and streamlined symmetry.

“The bold banks of drawers under the lustrous stainless-steel benchtop are mimicked by the large, luminous island bench, and provide unparalleled storage and functionality for a growing family. An extra preparation area and additional storage are created by combining the pantry with the kitchen, but clever design keeps this space out of direct sight, so the “butler” — or any little helpers — can make as much mess as necessary. It’s easy for a simple colour palette such as black and white to appear cold and binary, but the floating shelves not only add a dash of warmth, they give the owners the opportunity to inject their character into the design, stamping it as their own.”
