Raising the bar: an open-plan induction cooktop

This chic induction hob is touch-controlled and comes with a choice of three or four separate induction zones

Fusing the latest in touch-control induction cooktop technology with a telescopic downdraft rangehood, Sirius has designed the ultimate cooking solution for open-plan kitchens.

Established in 1996, Sirius has spent the last two decades developing and refining top-end exhaust solutions. The company’s latest innovation raises the bar once again.

The chic induction hob comes with a choice of three or four separate induction zones, which can each be controlled simply by touch. An automatic heat-up function allows your cooktop to reach a desired temperature at a faster rate by operating at full capacity, then automatically switching back when it’s reached that level.

There’s also a booster to temporarily supply extra power to an induction zone, and a bridge function that lets you combine two cooking zones into one larger zone, perfect for big pots.

Completing the sleek unit is the built-in downdraft rangehood with four speeds. A 10-watt LED strip light is integrated into the rangehood design to provide task lighting while cooking. Both the rangehood and induction cooktop can be controlled using the sensitive electronic touch keys, allowing you to accurately and easily control temperatures and extraction speeds.

A black bevelled edge makes an elegant design statement for contemporary kitchens, especially when integrated into an island. The cooktop surface is also smooth and easy to clean with no areas to attract grease and grime.
Complete with a three-year warranty (or four-year warranty with Sirius Ducting), the Sirius induction hob and downdraft rangehood is the superior solution for modern kitchens.

Practical and perfect

The team from Ultimate Kitchens & Bathrooms kept this in mind when renovating this room. While the original footprint was already nice and simple, visually and functionally it needed some alterations to make it practical as well as perfect — which is what has been achieved.
